From humble beginnings in 1990, this has been an exhilarating journey. I truly believe this to be the best job in the world. This has been, and remains to be, a privilege and a joy. One of my simplest pleasure’s is overhearing colleagues use my frequent phrases…

Over the thirty-two years, the journey has been helped by our supportive partner venues, supplier friends, as well as the most thrilling and professionally demanding clients.
How the events industry has changed over the years! It is all grown up, with everything from entry level opportunities to apprenticeships and professional degrees. It’s wonderful to see robust training schemes that offer growth and career enhancement as well as a broader diversity and inclusion. Health and safety has come a long way too, a now positive language that influences best practice, design and delivery.

The developments in technology has helped Wise deliver our clients’ dreams and visions. Today, we produce bigger, better, more creative experiences in our Museums, Palaces, and Galleries thanks to the technological revolution of the last 30 years.

Who knows how future innovation will shape our events sector? What I do know is, it’s going to be fun, as well as fulfilling, to be part of the continued development of event delivery.
